Shahjada Al Amin Kabir (Founder & Head of Chamber )
A legal professional with over 25 years of experience in litigation, advocacy, and legal consultancy, currently enrolled as an Advocate of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 2023. Previously he was permitted to practice before the High Court Division in 2008 and was called as an Advocate to the Bangladesh Bar Council in 1999 as well as he was called as a Barrister by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, UK in 2004.
Holding multiple academic qualifications including LL.B (Honours) from the University of Dhaka, LL.M from the same institution, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Skills (PGDL) from City University, London, he completed the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) from the Inns of Court School of Law (UK) in 2003-2004.
Currently serving as Head of Chambers at A. Amin’s Chamber, Dhaka since 2008, with extensive experience handling over 3,000 cases in the High Court Division and numerous matters in the Appellate Division. Regularly represents major government bodies, corporations, and banks including Prime Bank PLC, Janata Bank PLC, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC, and several others.
Areas of expertise include Civil and Criminal Litigation, Company and Contract Law, Family and Labour Law, Banking and Negotiable Instruments, Artha Rin Adalat Ain 2003 matters, and Constitutional Matters.
In August, 2025, he was enlisted as a Counsel of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Bangladesh and he provided his extensive legal expertise for ACC.
Former Visiting Lecturer at the University of Development Alternative (UODA), and Chairman of the Human Rights Support Society (HRSS) since 2018, actively contributing to human rights advocacy and constitutional reform initiatives in Bangladesh.
Widely travelled for education, conferences, and human rights engagements across the UK, other European countries, Italy, Belgium, and Asian countries, like, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia and Singapore, with a lifelong commitment to upholding the Rule of law, Human rights, and ethical legal practice.
